We warmly welcome you to our 5th weekend of literary events in various venues in beautiful Ryedale, North Yorkshire.
7th-9th October 2016. This year our programme is packed full of different events, all with a bookish theme and many connected in some way to film.
Our team of hard working volunteers has tried to assemble a programme that they hope will interest and inspire you. Events range from writing and paper craft workshops to hearing true stories about a racehorse trainer who was a WW2 hero in the Resistance.
There is the chance to meet “Nasty Nick” from Eastenders, to be taken on a journey across America in pursuit of migrating geese and to LOL with two funny women in Malton and two funny men in Helmsley.
From dyslexia to dementia, The Gruffalo to Poems for Pensioners, there really is something for everyone. Enjoy!
