This year the Festival Bar is even bigger and better. More craft beer, more cider, more nights and live music!

The Festival Bar is operated by Malton’s very own award-winning Brass Castle Brewery, showcasing over 30 local beers, local artisan ciders, locally-sourced wines and soft drinks.


Let’s get this party started!

Not only is the Festival Bar open from Friday night, it is open throughout Saturday evening’s Festival Party. So you can enjoy top-rated drink and delicious street food while enjoying the live music taking place at the party on Saturday night. Don’t forget your dancing shoes! See below for the band lineup!

Ten Millennia – 5pm-6pm

Inspired by Jools Holland, Yorkshire based new groove and funk band Ten Millennia all work in, live in and love Yorkshire! They have played several hundred gigs over the last six years in pubs and clubs, bars and restaurants across their beloved ‘White Rose’ county.

Jonny Wild and the Broken Hearts – 6pm-7pm

With guitar, double bass and harmonica Jonny Wild and The Broken Hearts sing their blues away in an eclectic rock and roll style.

Acoustic Soul – 7pm-8pm

Featuring soulful vocals, melodic guitar and percussive grooves; Acoustic Soul deliver a unique acoustic performance with covers by recent and classic artists including Adele, U2 and Kings of Leon.

5K – 8pm-9pm

“York’s premier pop-punk party band! Playing headbangers from your favourites including Green Day, Foo Fighters, Muse and more!”

Pure Silk – 9pm-10pm

The “non-stop party band”, Pure Silk, features a stunning female vocalist, (Jenny) plus one of the most dynamic male vocalists around (James), accompanied by the slickest, professional studio-level musicians to keep you entertained.  Their musical versatility, extensive repertoire and experience ensures all ages are entertained.
