From 29th April to 1st May, the eyes of the sporting world will be on Yorkshire for the annual Tour de Yorkshire cycling race.
Hundreds of thousands of spectators are expected to descend onto the county for sporting entertainment of the highest calibre.
But there’s more to Yorkshire than amazing cycling routes. From Pontefract liquorice to Whitby Fish and Chips, Yorkshire has an incredibly rich food culture. In association with Welcome to Yorkshire, Great British Food has produced a food trail showcasing foodie locations along the Tour de Yorkshire route. As Yorkshire’s Food Capital, Malton is proud to support the Tour de Yorkshire and this excellent campaign!
Take a look at the trail below, discover new foodie destinations and share your Yorkshire food story on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook using #GreatBritishFood2016 and #TDY.
