Dan Graham – New Head Chef at Talbot Hotel
New chef Dan Graham has been appointed at Malton’s Talbot Hotel. Dan Graham has worked at some of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants in the UK including time spent working under Michel Roux Jr. at the world famous ‘Le Gavroche’.
You may also recognise Dan as the runner up of Masterchef the Professionals in 2009. Dan now oversees the Wentworth Restaurant (new Menu pictured) and the Malton Brasserie, opening next month. Malton Brasserie will be the everyday dining option at the hotel.
In the Wentworth Restaurant Dan’s most popular dishes so far have been his starter of ‘Lobster Ravioli’ and his main ‘Ampleforth Abbey cider glazed pork’. He is known for his signature dessert, ‘sweet Yorkshire pudding with boozy cherries’!
Dan takes over from the BBC Saturday Kitchen star James Martin who set up the kitchen over the first 3 years.
